Dr. Priscilla Pappas is an Oreana, IL native and graduated Valedictorian from Argenta-Oreana high school. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology & Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was a member of the Honors College. Dr. Pappas then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where she received honors in all of her clinical rotations.
Dr. Pappas has cared for patients in a variety of clinical settings including the Illinois Eye Institute, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Spectrios Institute for Low Vision and private practices. She has also provided free eye care to hundreds of orphans in Nicaragua thru VOSH.
Dr. Pappas has been on staff at All About Eyes since 2009. She later opened her own practice while maintaining her associate position, and is currently a Division Vice President - Medical Director. She still participates in full time clinical patient care, allowing her to enjoy her passions for both patient care and business administration. Dr. Pappas’ clinical interests include contact lenses, especially myopia management for children and multifocal fits for presbyopia, as well as ocular disease including glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crafting, and baking.
