Dr. Jennifer Karr
Dr. Jennifer Karr joined the All About Eyes team in October 2017. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BBA in Business Finance in 1993 and from Wichita State University in 1999 with a BGS in Chemistry. She then received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St Louis in 2004. Dr. Karr is a member of the Illinois and American Optometric Associations.
In her spare time, she is usually busy as a dance mom, but she also likes to spend time with family and friends at local restaurants and wineries. She lives in O’Fallon, IL with her husband Jeremy and daughter Emily..

The Optometrist was hilarious and has a great personality. I have been going to All About Eyes for a long time now. Years ago she told me I would need bifocal contact lenses well that day came yesterday on March 13, 23. I was like ohhhh man but she said you need them and I was like aging is so not pretty. Having to commute back and forth to STL from Glen Carbon I better be able to see driving. She fitted me for 2 types of lenses and I appreciate her caring enough to make sure I can see clearly and that they fit just right over my eyes. Talk about a huge transition for me, it hit me right then chic you're getting old but at least with a good eye doc I can see clearly now the rain has gone, Hahah couldn't resist that!

I love this place. Everyone from the staff out front to the doctor in back are extremely helpful. I have always had a good experience here and have even started bringing my mom in. They are extremely patient and kind with my mom who has dementia. (And they're great at helping you pick out the perfect pair of frames for your face).

I visited the office and nothing changed. The best customer service in the business. As I entered Malika was hard at work and immediately came to help me with a big smile. Been a little over a year and no change. Well, Malika was promoted and that wasn’t a surprise. She gave my wife and I the paperwork to start the visit. A few minutes later we saw Dr. Karr and she is absolutely the best. Afterwards, Malika helped with frames and lenses. You really can’t beat this place for professionalism and great customer service. Thanks to all of you. Will be back.

Maleka and Devin are absolutely amazing. I’m a single mother of twins and brought both my boys to the appointment and they entertained them the whole entire time with a smile on their face while doing their job professionally and quickly. I have taken my kids to the Edwardsville location for a few years for eye care. My daughter was mainly the one who I took the most, as she has a need for eye glasses and contacts. Yesterday (4/11/2022) was the first time my kids and I all had appointments on the same day. It was a fantastic experience! In all of the time we have been there this was, by far, the best. The doctor seemed more relaxed with us this time. She has always been thorough but today she was pleasant, very personable and really explained our exams. She made us feel comfortable and valued as patients. But it did not stop there. The support staff who were there were even more friendly. The staff member who stood out the most was Malika! She was serious about her work, but she was so FUN! She was eager to help, put us at ease about our exams, explained all of the forms and pricing---- all while making sure we were comfortable by checking on us regularly and playing us great music! She is an AMAZING person and has such great energy. It really positively impacts the tone of the office. The Johnson family gives All About Eyes Edwardsville 5 stars and 6 thumbs up!

Really enjoyed All About Eyes and this location specifically. The optometrist was knowledgeable and kind. The front end staff was kind, knowledgeable and patient. I previously went to Clarkson and while they were great as well, All About Eyes has better hours for my busy schedule and a much larger selection of glasses. I’ll be continuing to visit this location from here on out.

I went in for a repair. I had a stripped screw in my glasses that I was unable to remove. Malika and Karen worked on my glasses for 30 minutes until they got the screw out and replaced. These ladies saved me!5+ star review for these ladies! Thank you!Side note: I try to spread positive reviews and not give bad reviews but the blonde female optometrist here is horrible. She told me I had cataracts that needed to be treated. She also said that there was nothing that could be done with my glasses to help me see better. I kept telling her that her machine needed to be adjusted as my vision was not that blurry without my glasses but she ignored me. I had eye surgery just prior to this exam by one of the top ophthalmologists in the country. He would have mentioned a serious issue with cataracts.I spent the money to have another exam as I knew this was incorrect. I was told I have the beginnings of a cataract that can’t even be treated yet. I was given a new prescription for glasses and was told that we will keep an eye on the cataracts.I won’t waste my money on eye exams at All About Eyes in the future. If I could give a -5 review for the exam I would.

I noticed my Raybans I was gifted for Christmas by my girlfriend were not Alligned or must have bent during delivery when I wore them out today.I thought I would try my luck and see what All About Eyes could do for me. Thank goodness I trusted my intuition.Karen greeted me at the door and immediately offered to adjust the glasses, although I didn’t have receipt as they were a gift. She even polished them free of charge. Also, she was wonderful at customer service.I walked out having my day made. 6/5 stars!

This location has been very kind to me every time I've visited, and this time was no exception.
